SoloTraveller, plenty of tuna off Negril. There is a Tuna run about a mile off shore almost parallel with the beach. Locals call tuna Bonita, doesn't matter if it is Blue Fin, Yellow Fin or Skipjack.

VVHT, Alfred asked his boys where they got the tuna. They pointed and said "Out there" . I almost cracked up - out there!! But you are right about the distance.
