With Niah gone who has best patties on beach near CCLP

It's only Norman's veggie patties are the ones made with coco bread crust.

Norman has regular veggie patties but also has veggie loafs...the latter being made with cocoa bread.

Another lesser known spot is Ally's Little Sunset Hut, across from Negril Escape. He makes large pan fried patties to order, but they do take some time to prepare. I usually stop by and place an order, then have Ally deliver them to my hotel.

Also, don't forget Out of Town Pastry in the deep West End. Not the same as those mentioned, but they are made fresh daily and offer loafs in addition to patties. The ackee loaf is fantastic for breakfast!

Too funny, Mike D...I was going to mention Ally...but it can be a bit difficult to find and it's a pre-order...and...the only loaf I enjoy is Out of Town Pastry's ackee loaf...unfortunately they don't always have it or run out quick...I'd have Rob take a 45 second walk over to the shop early in the morning to get me one....Yummmm!

If you want another variety in Negril...Out of Town Pastry in the far West End has some pretty good patties also.

Too funny, Mike D...I was going to mention Ally...but it can be a bit difficult to find and it's a pre-order.

Ha! Yeah, if he would just settle on a name and put up a permanent sign, it might do wonders for his business. Is it called "The Little Sandwich Hut", "The Little Mushroom Hut", "The Little Sunset Mushroom Spot" or whatever? Last time I stopped by, he was handing out menus with his phone number on it and encouraged people to call in orders in advance. Unless you're staying nearby, he's really not convenient as everything is made to order and he doesn't have a waiting or sitting area. Since we often stay in that area, I like to stop by and place an order of juice and patties and then pick-up my order when I return from my walk. One time, he even made me an order of Jerk chicken with 24 hours notice, LOL!
