I too like Mom's Place.


It's like the last place on the beach going towards the river.
I found it, sat down and heard
John Klemmer "Touch" playing and decided to make it my must do stop.

Nice small little cabins/rooms.
Also, one of the cleanest bathrooms around.

very quiet, nice vibe. I go there at least once a trip to say hi to everyone, and have dinner !

Well, it's been a few years, I think I remember around 60 bucks a night, in low season.... I heard good thing about Donaldsons as well, but have never been.

I checked them out 2 years ago, rooms are nice, way up by NEGRIL PALMS if I remember right.... they wanted 120$ / night then..

Vince, not sure about that, very small place, been around forever, so maybe just do not advertise, if you check out all the reviews om TA, they are all mostly very positive...
probably get a lot of repeat business. I can say I had no complaints the times I stayed there.

Mom's and Donaldson's are old time family properties that tend to keep a lower profile. They don't advertise much or at all and seem to prefer it that way.
