    Re: nitetime dress

I made the mistake of bringing some dressier apparel. It never made it out of my suitcase. This year I am taking a carry on with just shorts, swim gear and sandals.

Although T shirt and shorts are appropriate at most places in Negril, some of the "white tablecloth" restaurants such as LaVendome and Ivans call for "Caribbean Chic"
Sundress and sandals for the ladies and collared shirt and belted shorts for the gents. Part of the fun of going to a nice restaurant to get dressed up and be surrounded by other nicely dresses folks.

I sometimes like to wear a nice button up shirt, well almost always, but i am going to try to break that and wear some t-shirts or muscle(table muscle)shirts this trip.As livin said it really depends where and when we are going. If it's 3am egg sandwiches at Miyard i worry less about dress and more about cold beers but if it's Chicken Lavish or Ivans i will dress to impress!Just enjoy the vibe, anything goes in Negril, well almost anything,we leave the handcuffs and leashes at home, hehehe!

If you like to dress up then dress up, if you're more casual of a dresser, then stay casual. Anything goes.

One of my favorite parts of going to Negril is taking my wife out and seeing how amazing she dresses up or just casual.............she is my bling bling.

The only restaurant I was ever rejected at was Sweet Spice. I've also had convenience stores ask me to leave if not wearing a shirt. I guess that's just too anti-Babylon for them.

Might want to wear jeans or pants as skeeter protection at night. I do sometimes.
