Does anyone know if Alfreds still exchanges Canadian dollars? They did lasy year, we are arriving late and I'm going to need a Red Srtipe.

I'm pretty sure they will accept CDN but their exchange rate will be lower than the cambios. I saw a conversion chart by the cash a couple of weeks ago. Since I use Jamaican dollars I didn't really pay attention to the rate. This time, when you go home, do what I do, take enough Jamaican to cover yourself for a few days on your next trip

I recommend that you stop at the gas station just before you get to Negril. They have an ATM there. The driver can top up his tank.

I know it was a typo, but made me laugh. I pictured a sleezy little rat with a Hawaiian print shirt, straw hat, thin mustache and chewing on a cigar just waiting to take advantage of first time visitors with an unfavorable exchange rate.

You mean that wasn't the right way to spell it? OK critics I changed it but your comments did give me a good laugh.
