Coconut oil

Does HiLo or Megamart carry coconut oil? Are there Jamaican brands that I should look for?

There are a slew of newish versions on the shelves, most are highly refined/deodorized. Avoid those and look for cold pressed.

I picked up some Zion Hill Coconut Oil from Linston on our last trip. Really great stuff! I'm trying to make it last until we have a chance to get back to Negril. We only use it in special recipes, and use the store-bought stuff for everyday cooking.
