    Alcoholic Beverages

As we have always stayed at an AI - we are newbies at staying on the beach. We are looking to purchase beverages for our room - do they sell alcohol in the corner stores?? Is there a liquor store in Negril?? Has anyone purchased wine while in Negril?? Thanks for your help. F & K

I will try to help. Sounds like you like to drink. lol. That's ok. On da beach road, dere are many likkle grocery stores. They all sell beer, liquor, and I'm sure some of them sell wine {we have never bought wine there}. Downtown Negril, we buy our beer from the Chinaman store. We used to buy beer off the beer truck, but they quit doing that. There should be no problem mon' finding what you need. You will like non-AI. You will be fine. Good luck F & K from Canada. From Todd & Deb Minnesota {almost Canada} eh?

Last trip we bought ours in the airport as soon as we got off plane. That way we could start drinking as soon as we checked into our room!

The store on the road in front of Bourbon Beach sales wine. So does the store across (and south a little) from Pee Wees on the west end.

We purchased wine at the HiLo In November. They had a reasonable selection of wine and liquor.

Liquor and beer no problem... I would suggest bringing a couple bottles of wine, though... my experience with wine is similar to Jamaican beef... you never know what you're gonna get!! Although I have had some good wine in negril, I've also had a lot that isn't...
