Yup, this was my first trip there in over 15 years, as well. Being on a budget this winter, the low airfare to CUN (half of that to MBJ) and the relatively low peak season hotel rates made it an attractive option. I did my research and found a safe town with a cool, local vibe. Even the local food was cheap enough that I found it easy to stick to $100/day budget for 2. Still, I missed Negril, but will save that trip for the slow season when things are more affordable.Originally Posted by Marko
