To get any better, you have to go to the reef.
Yeah, I HSH has a pretty good little area for snorkeling (by JA standards), I usually head over that way from BCC then go out to the dropoff right in front of HSH. There's a family of eagle rays that lives right out there.

Thanks to Rob and TAH for bringing up the harm that bread can do. I would prefer that people don't feed the fish at all because that trains them to look to humans for their food rather than foraging as they naturally should. I have always seen plenty without feeding the fish.

I keep wondering what happened to "Take only photographs, leave only footprints".

this morning the ocean is flat like a pancake.....perfect for snorkel...but just about every morning it's like this
mi go in snorkeling every morning at PeWees......and doesn't cost a dime or beer or drink....
mi either snorkel up to Xtabi or SamSara.....or down to the Spa or Home Sweet Home....
mi snorkel anywhere from an hour to almost 2 hours......mi don't use fins as it's not much of a workout if mi do

Elvis at PeWees serves the best breakfast on the Cliffs and it inexpensive.....

We used to do this quite regularly...have breakfast with Elvis and go snorkelling/swimming off their cliffs...really have to get around to doing that again!

You should try a good stiff bladed fin, I promise it's far more of a workout than snorkeling without fins. Plus then you can dive down pretty deep and look under ledges.
