Jeesam Peas! Pre-trip Miami Passport Agency excursion

3 more sleeps left! Applied to renew my teens passport expedited February 20th with court order. They would not accept the order even though it granted me specific permission to apply without dad. So.... left at 6am drive 3 hrs to Miami yesterday with a 10am appointment. Given a number and waited a little over 1 hr. Told to come back in 2 hrs (1pm) because all paperwork and fees needed to be transferred from NH agency that had my paperwork. I did bring duplicates of EVERYTHING along with me. 1pm we are told come back by 2:30p because doors lock at 3p. We get back in at 2 and wait until 4pm to pick up passport. Out door at 4pm. 3 hr drive back home. Staff was ok there. Just a very long wait. I read mixed reviews about the agency before heading there and I admit it scared me lol. I would have cried and lost it if we had to return another day to pick up or not at all. I already have my passport. This was so I can bring my 15yo with me Tuesday to celebrate the big 16th bday there! The things we do for our children! Now I am going to take a nap while my kid cleans house AND washes my car lol. Jamaica here we come!! Rum cream ready!
