It went pretty smooth for me. As long as you contact the hotel and confirm availability for your dates first. There's also the extra 20% tax and $2 a day to pay at the hotel, but even after that it's still a great deal. You could even contact the hotel directly and see if they'll match the Groupon rate. I know Traveller's offered to match it this year.
