Almost every single trip I get searched it is always me.BEEP BEEP BEEP step to the side madam.
Once it was one of my children. One of our cases always gets searched and I always get asked questions I think I would absolutely flip if they dared try to strip search me especially given the fact that I do not smoke I do not take drugs and a mules pay would not even cover my families airfare alone never mind anything else so what would be the point?
    As well as the consequences
Glad I did my washing before I left Jamaica though after I saw the way they handled my underwear and inspected it in full view of the airport
I start to relax the second I am on the ground OUTSIDE of Montego bay airport
And this trip which will take me 20 hrs of travelling time with three children and 10 pieces of luggage and no doubt being searched along the way DARE let that baggage guy outside the airport start throwing all my luggage around into random taxis that I do not want to get in!I am ready for you this year mister!

    getting caught is no fun

there was a iime in the late 70's and mid 80's i would bring back enuff to last me and girlfriend for much of the year.( light users.) the in 1990 i got caught , it was a friday so spent 3 nights in mo bay jail. hired a lawyer he go me out for a hefty fee. it was a harrowing experience ,one that makes for a good story but one i have no interest in doing again. the court room was a hoot though as they wore the white wigs. my attorney knew he had me by the cohones as i was told if i did not have an attorney i could be in there for a while. we had about 10 of us in a cell and the only non jamaican was a british guy who had been in for 6 months and had been told originally it would just be a few days so that along with the fact he appeared to be losing his marbles. figured i better hire the lawyer.
he was my slepmate as he was able to have a cot(we slept opposite ways) as he told the cellmates he would get them some money when he got released. i did get a ride over to Tim who owned Tim Air and he fronted me some money off a credit card to pay some expenses. the police who took me had me give them some "gas money".
as i sd pretty bad experience but a good story to tell. needless to say i no longer bring anything back (maybe just a small bit now and then)

Tic Toc,I agree. I never really gave "mules" very much thought until this happened. When I got home I did some research on it via the internet. The pictures I saw of what they actually carry inside of them look like little bullets. How much money could you possibly make? It can't be that much. But I'll tell you one thing, when they put my urine sample on the test tube holder, there were about seven or eight other tubes there. So, I wasn't the only person that happened to that day. Unless they never throw them away, LOL!!
