Wish there was a reliable way of finding the Lambsbread of the early 70's
Are there any places that sell sativas? I remember seeing pictures of bars along the One Love crawl route that had a "menu" of sorts, but can't recall if it was mostly edibles. Ideally, I'd like to make my own coconut oil while out there so I know the potency.
It's really doubtful that it's the real deal. I have searched for ten years now, talking to countless Rasta's and growers in a lot of different places in Jamaica. They all say it's gone. But who knows? Personally, I think the closest you are likely to find would be a nice Panama Red, which you can find in and around Negril if you ask the right people. It's an equatorial sativa, with a very bright uplifting high.
Right on. Thanks guys.
I had a guy last trip who said he'd bring me Purple Kush - I was skeptical at best. But he didn't ask for anything up front, and I like to try stuff from different folks, so I told him to bring me a stalk. I gave him $10 for the stalk. After I had time to check it out, I put in and order for 5 more stalks. It certainly wasn't Kush, or particularly purple for that matter, but I was by far the best stuff I've seen in my 7 trips. Nice, dense, well cured buds and lots of crystals. Going to the fields with him in August, I'll make sure to share pics.
