Yes, Colombia was/is known for high quality landrace sativa. Punta Roja was/is one, and I can't recall the other popular strain (Colombian Gold?) from back in the day. It isn't really exported now, so much tougher to find. Especially since FARC and other revolutionary and militia groups control the countryside.
edit: just read Treasure BeachBum's comment above about Colombian Gold. I need to slow down and read before posting.
