IMO....I've had these philosophical thoughts to myself many times while driving through Jamaica......the way I see it, the landscape of Jamaica is so beautiful........ just breaktaking...but then there such roughness on other things......I asked myself many times, how can beauty coexist with struggle…but it does, everywhere, not just JA…..Most of my family and friends have never traveled to Jamaica, there thoughts and experience of Jamaica is based on the beautiful pictures/commercial etc. they see...they do not think of Jamaica as having struggle, but as beauty…..but we know, whether we’re born/raised there, live there or have become regular guest of Jamaica, we know there’s more to it than the beauty of its landscape….I’ve used the wording “it’s not what it seems” when describing Jamaica, not in a bad way, but to let people know it’s not all about what it looks like, but also what’s in it as well…..
