We usually travel to Jamaica in January or February to escape the cold WI winters. This year, the prices of airfare and hotel made us look outside the "rock" and we, very regretfully, decided to take a cruise. The best part about that cruise was I learned that I don't like cruising. After the cruise, I looked at my husband and said "I HAVE to go to Jamaica this year". So, we started watching prices and found that smack dab in the middle of hurricane season was within our budget. We knew it was a risk, but, I also knew if I didn't get back to Negril SOON, I would die.

This will be our 8th (or 9th?) trip to our beloved island. We have enjoyed staying all inclusive, but also enjoyed staying "off the big resort". This time, we will be exploring Couples Negril. We chose all inclusive this go round as our last trip was at Point Village and we like to alternate "experiences".

Questions for the group:
What is in season right now that we must make sure to try? (Fruits, vegetables, etc)
Point Village- I loved hanging out on the beach and snorkeling there. Can non residence visit the beach or do you have to have a key?
Is there any live music anywhere in Negril that starts before 8 pm?
Any must do's for the week of 09/23 to 09/30 (we arrive 09/23 and leave 09/30)?

Thank you for your help.
