How you held the camera taking the pic is probably the issue. I say probably because sometimes photos seem to "stuck". I would try using the software on your device, rotating the pic 180 degrees and then re-saving it with that new rotation under a new name. Upload that new rotated photo and let us know what happens.
Australia has nothing to do with it.....
Also, is this an Android or iPhone?
