I don't recall 21 having A/c, but it has been several years since we called Xtabi home. It has a very cool outdoor shower and the kitchenette had the basics - a small fridge and a hot plate with some cooking utensils and dishes. If you need something that it isn't in the kitchenette, just ask the housekeeping ladies and they will get it for you (for a tip).

I don't believe that room has AC. See you in March?

    hi there!

    here's a video i took of room 21 back in 2009:

    https://youtu.be/WIH41xx2wY0

kitchenette items are included, although they were fairly scanty. we cooked a big fish dinner with white rice and got by with what was supplied. i think we borrowed a bigger pot from the kitchen.

the bed is a double bed. you may want to consider bringing your own sheets and pillows if you're picky about having soft bed linens.

i personally don't need AC in march, especially cliffside.

b, cabin 21 is garden side. Shower is not really outdoor unless they redid it? Shower has a semi open top.

in the description of my youtube video i specifically say the shower is semi-outdoors.

and in general, if you're not on the beach i feel you don't need ac, even if you're on garden-side (that's what i meant when i said cliffside).

(to all board members reading this, i know i probably sound a little rude, but i'm responding to my sister. she'll understand i'm not trying to be b!tchy.)

Gottcha B. I'll add: regarding no ac, if u absolutely hate not having ac in general and feel uncomfortable w/o it, then u should probably go for a room with ac. It gets warm for sure during the day wih no AC. I stayed in Cabin 4 (seaside of the road) this past June and there's nothing giving any shade at all during the day. It got hot in there for sure. But husband and I are generalpy ok without AC so it was fine. We were swimming all day anyways. Once the sun goes down it is pleasant. One other time, up at Citronella in June a few years ago, with no AC there were days I felt a tad annoyed I was so hot. But that was only when I had to for some reason put clothes on to go out. In a bathing suit, swimming all day, we don't care about AC. It adds to the overall awesomeness of the vaca to have no AC, I think. U really just get to be hot and clean yourself out. Cabin 21 didn't have ac if I remember correctly but the rooms in the hotel building on the gardennside did. Nirvana on the Beach had AC in our room and thris past June we were grateful for it b/c it rained every day and was very humid.
