Ms Madge has always served awesome home cooked meals. ( You won't find better kingfish anywhere. )

Yes! and the Kingfish was so damn, good.

I have stayed at $500 rooms and $80 rooms in Negril. I booked the Palms but changed at the last minute. For the price and what you get, I say it's a good deal.Location/oceanfront bar&pool/great store there.
No more Barrys bar though !

We always try to catch a meal at Ms Madge's, and always loved the old family style Jamaican vibe. Preferred the old location across the road but good to see the family is keeping the business going. You have to try Lena's In Thing (at Donaldson's) for breakfast, right next door. Kadina will put a smile on your face and cook you a delicious Jamaican omelette. Also nearby, on the beach side of the road, is Juicy J's. We've had a number of good dinners there - shrimp and mash potatoes was a particular favorite. All good Mon!

Stayed at Negril Palms before and booked again for Feb/March. Rooms were very clean, gardens beautiful and we liked the tables in the middle "courtyard". The pool was kept clean daily and always enough beach chairs. Not the best place for breakfast......slow service but food was good! Too many other options for eating so this did not bother us. Can't wait to be back to visit with good friends.

We are booked at NP for Feb, can't wait. Happy to hear the good reviews and can't wait to try the restaurant suggestions. It's the only section of beach we haven't tried yet, so looking forward to comparing. Sounds like we should be happy.
