    T Water

Heard from some friends in Negril that they are finally cleaning up the old T Water. Does anyone know what the plans are? Heading to Negril for our 6th year in a row in late January and wondering if we need to think about changing our accommodations because of construction. We stay right next door at Beach House. Appreciate it if anyone has some insight. Thanks!

I hope the report you heard is correct. It could use a clean up. I haven’t understood how all of the vendors that line the beach there are able to do so. I was pleased though when the zinc fencing was blown away years ago.

The former and famous T-Water is indeed being cleaned up! I do not want to say much more than that as I have not been able to confirm first hand the information (read rumours) on the street, but the vendors (squatters) will need to find a new location.

If the information pans out, look for a new resort to be opening within the next couple years, bringing new life to this once crown of the Negril beach!

Thank you Bnewb!! We did celebrate this year with dinner at Ivan's as we try to make our anniversary celebrations back where it all started, on Feb 28 each year. We haven't yet met but I am sure we will yet? That is Mrs Segre just to my right. She married us and oversaw the evening as destination weddings were not yet a thing. All of the flowers were from her yard and they started to soak the fruit for the wedding cake in September. It was so much fun!

hey_mon, great photo of your wedding day!! Brings back many nice memories of T-Water. Back in the day it was a great spot to stay, eat, or just hang out at. Hopefully they can get the place up and running again in time for your 35th!! All the best!!

It would be great if they offer the squatters employment. Those folks just need a job, and they are already there every day.
