Mom's Place, a nice mixed crowd

My usual hang out in the A.M. used to be Bar B Barn.

Next door is a very nice, quaint little place called Mom's Place.

They have a few nice little rooms, a big bar and a wonderful Chef.

    Early one morning,
I wandered down the lane that separates Bar B Barn and Barry's Rooms.

Make a quick left at the beach and I am there.

Early in the morning, there is a only one man there.
He is in charge of Security.

I asked "are you the Chef/cook?
"no, he said, I only make coffee for you early birds,
the cook gets here about 8:30.

    So, I had coffee.
It is a wonderful place on the beach.

There was a couple from India,
a pair of guys from France
and a guy and gal from Germany.

I made it my stop every other day for B-fast.

The piped music is Jazz/Smooth Jazz, so nice early in the A.M. while day dreaming
    looking out to Sea.

A cute waitress and cook arrive about 8-8:30.

Eggs, crisp bacon, coffee and toast.
    Always about 800J.
They have a chalk board for dinner menu too.

    They had 2 for 1 lobster at 23 U.S.
It is Garlic Lobster, pan cooked, not grilled.
I did not try it, I should have.

The view of the water is awesome too.

Mom was Miss Gloria. One of the first rooms on the beach.

Miss G and I just loved her.

I stayed with Miss Gloria many times. She had a beautiful thatched roof A-frame on the beach. She made the best breakfasts. Barry is her grandson I believe.

I usually start out my morning walk from next door at Coconut Int. My "hangout". Hope something happens with the T-Water property.

Cap, here is a picture of the corner of the A-Frame and the entrance to Gloria's property (now Mom's Place). I believe she called it Sunset Cottages.. Does Gloria's daughter Maureen own the place??

Definitely something happening at T Water...a massive pile of rubble at the moment...soon to be completely cleared for something brand new.
