Tim, guards are always present on property and are attentive to move unwanted vendors walking the beach away from you if needed. I've only stayed in the rustic cabins but they are clean and comfy and the staff has always been great! I can only imagine the other rooms are very nice. I just returned home about a week ago from Firefly and would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone!
