Chicago the best? I beg to differ. Care for a pizza duel?

We used to make a pizza using roti. It's an Indian flatbread.

Our niece is East Indian and she would fry the roti and I'd make pizza sauce.

    Jamaican/Indian/Italian Pizza.

In case Marko doesn't get back in this thread...the German Bar pizza is a nice thin crust pizza with a variety of toppings...my fav is their funghi concoction...most times you need to like cheese A LOT!

I would add guacamole and give it an additional Mexican flair....

It would be a great duel that I'd be willing to take 40 years to finish! I've got some good genes for it, my Dad (who just passed in Dec) opened a pizza joint in Chicago in 1950. Ran it for almost 30 years and passed down his secrets to me. I'll take any pizza, but the Lou Malnati's deep dish with a solid layer of sausage (no little nuggets) is amazing.

Sounds strange but going to Jamaica since I was 3yo and have never had pizza there - cliff dweller so I think there are less options. Are there any in Negril with an Italian style brick oven with pimento wood?

i have yet to order a pizza in Negril... it cracks me up... pizza...in Negril... but i guess that's why there's a burger king, too... the western-ification of the world! Interesting thoughts and considerations of such since my trip to Eastern Europe this past summer.

Now you're talking! I thought I heard that Sunrise Club had a brick oven and the place is Italian owned. Never tried their pizza (or the restaurant, for that matter). I will have to check it out next trip. But I think using pimento wood would make for an excellent pie!

If you love the idea of pizza & Burger King in Negril...then you're going to love hearing that Little Ceasars & Popeyes is opening soon...

Pretty sure they don't use pimento wood...but there are a few brick ovens around town.
