Irine- I'm well aware of this. They spend many weeks alone at our cabin with "friends." Can't complain it is always spotless when we get up there.

Maybe I can have them touch base with you in another 1.5 years when they go to school by you. They are debating Duluth or Superior. Superior is cheaper but Duluth is nicer.

These 2 boys are really good. Been best friends since little and now friend lives with us (older one) and has always looked out for our son. I think I trusted him more then our son. Now my daughter at that age I won't let her out of my sight.

They will have a blast, and it's so fun to have them down with you. We took our three kids down 5 years ago and our two boys, 21 and 25 are meeting us in Treasure Beach for our last week in March. They have seen Negril, now they can see some more of the island! Enjoy, cheers!

On a serious note, my children, and all of my friends children got a free pass with us while they were growing up and going through that "invincible" period. No matter where they were or who they were with, or what time it was, all they had to do is call, we'd pick them up no questions asked. They could go home or stay with us, the only rule is call home and let mom and dad know you were safe. So when the time comes, Duluth or Superior, I'll be happy to meet them and offer them the same service. We have a duty to keep these young kids alive during the first years of their coming of age. Sounds to me as though they already deeply respect your opinion and have respect for the responsibility you have given them. As an aside, Jamaican bar tenders won't serve them if they think they have had enough, they are quite perceptive. i think you've done all the groundwork already and you'll have a great time!

I'm sure they already drink at that age. Best you know and all honest about it, they'll be fine, just make sure they stay away from the Rum.

Let’s face it alcohol is nasty. In addition to being a known carcinogen and neurotoxin, it is by any credible definition, an addictive and very powerful psychoactive drug. Yet it’s glorified, advertised and promoted while pot is vilified. Not sure where I’m going with this. It really strikes me as “odd”. Just saying.
