Thinking of coming down (1st time to Negril) for a long weekend. Any info on the event? Where to stay, prob all inclusive, on a budget?

It might not be as easy to book exactly what you want. I tried to find a 2 night stay Feb 4-6 a couple of weeks ago and was finally able to get Treehouse, but was lucky. Not a lot left.

I wouldn’t recommend any all inclusive - I recommend any of the basic hotels on beach or cliffs particularly if you’re on a budget. There are many good and inexpensive restaurants everywhere. I have no idea if you can find anything at this late date because I typically book a year in advance - but I wish you best of luck.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe not the best weekend to come down a a 1st timer but I think I am going to look into it. Frank, I think I agree with not doing the all inclusive. Would want something on the beach. Any preferable area I may want to search? In the middle of things? Any direction would help. We are a late 50s couple who like beach, food, drink and music (and just about everything) in no particular order. What is the Bash at MWIII like? Anyone been to it?

Recommend using map on attached link google things to research what is available. You can probably use this forum to get feedback on whatever you find. I personally always stay at White Sands but I know they get booked early. Good luck!

Some great non AI properties if you can get a reservation...Charela Inn (offers an AI option), Travellers Beach Resort, White Sands, Crystal Waters (family oriented), Idle Awhile, Coco La Palm (more kids at Coco), Country Country, Rondell...
