This was us de-planing in 1991. Big O' DC-10. The baggage handlers towed the luggage from the plane to about where I'm standing taking this picture and chucked it off in a big pile, right on the tarmac, while the tourist dug thru it.

I miss the days when they served rum punch on the way there. First trip in the 70s, someone tried to sell Ganga while we were still waiting for our luggage
Maybe they could use some of it to get the people movers and the escalators
that were already paid for working, so you don't have to haul bags up escalator

Great pics, we remember those days, as soon as they opened the door and the heat rushed in.....we're back
