Heading to Legends March 10 -17

Hey all,

We are headed back to Negril after 2 years. We had originally booked the Grand Pineapple for March 17-24th, but was informed that the better half's spring break was actually March 10 thru 17th...Tried rebooking with Grand Pineapple, but was unable to, so cancelled and was able to book with Legends doing the AI there.

How does Legends stack up with the Grand Pineapple? We have done the Sandals, couples, etc..loved the Grand Pineapple for its friendly home type feel.

Like the thought of the lower cost AI so we don't feel guilty eating at other places.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

We love Legends.. And we just returned from Grand Pineapple.. So - here goes.. first.. the beach at Legends is a lot smaller than the one at Grand Pineapple. The food is about the same (good!) - drinks as well. Both have really friendly staffs. Rooms at both are very comfortable - though we prefer a King size bed (GP) to two full size ones.. Legends is less expensive (as you already know) - Make sure you connect with Michael on the beach - he will take great care of you.. and tell him Bill and Tina said hello! I hope this helps..

Did you take advantage of the shuttle to Samsara? if so how did you enjoy Samsara?

We stayed at Legends about two years ago and took the shuttle to SamSara. We liked it so much better then Legends that we split our stay moving to SamSara the last 4 days. I never thought that I would enjoy staying on the cliffs but the vibe is so much different then on the beach. My wife is a pool person and SamSara has a much better pool. I myself used the shuttle to get to the beach. The food and drinks are similar to what you would get at Legends.

Thanks. the pretty one loves the beach, so I guess I will be out before breakfast to set our things on a couple of loungers. I would like to go over to SamSara at least one day. Do they have a spa at legends or would we need to go to SamSara for that?
