I think he meant, Neville.....patty man. Beef patties, chicken patties, veggie patties, patty patties!
Well, same owner, same chef, same food, same menu, different name and/or location.
Nobody here considers Jenny's, Juicy J or Niah's closed... Just relocated which happens all the time...
Negril.com - For the vacation that never ends!
Niah's has relocated. The other two? I'll just say that throwing away an established and valuable "brand name" is a VERY strange way of doing business. Just saying.
I didn't start this post to get into a silly debate of what constitutes a closed business. Anyone care to share reviews of their recent restaurant experiences?

Pilots cafe was extremely horrible the last 2 reaches and we use to go there all the time.
Our new favorite place is in the cliffs past the lighthouse called Murphy's. Very good eats especially the pumpkin rice. We make it all the time.
L&M...while I respect you thinking Murphy's as "one of the nicest restaurants in Jamaica"...I would like to add the word rustic.
When I think of something as being the "nicest" I think of a place similar to Terra Nova etc in Kingston or even Rockhouse's atmosphere in Negril.
It's all about the outfit I may wear that night!![]()
I would agree with Bnewb. In my mind, the vibe at Murphy's isn't much different than Erica's or Quality's Seabreeze. I think Murphy's had some hammocks on the side porch, which is cool.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I thought Murphy's food was good - but not outstanding. I know he gets rave reviews on TA, but there are a number of other small, local restaurants that I would rank higher.
