Hi all,
Just wondering what the actual drive is like from the airport to Negril, paved roads, stops along the way...coming from a newbie who has never been, thanks!!😊

All paved in these modern times. Lots of stops for fun and food. Ask your driver. Should get lots of ideas here. I like Bigga's Jerk in Green Island. Here is a quick video of the trip. 1 1/2 hours condensed into something like 4 minutes. Some drive fast down there but this fast.

The drive is pretty boring compared to the great vacation you're about to have. I happen to like checking out the small towns, villages and homes you pass along the way. It points out the struggles these people have, and makes you appreciate what you have that much more. The ride is along the shoreline and there are quite a few scenic views
After many, MANY reaches to Negril, most of them to AI's, I always enjoy watching first time visitors. Many of them haven't been on a bus since high school, and to see the look on their face as the driver pulls into the left left lane when we leave MBJ is priceless. The first encounter with a goat or cow along the road usually draws a few gasps. Lucea on market day? Yikes!
Relax and settle in... you can pretend to be a pro now.
Thanks for all the feedback, love this forum!!!
Your first time is a eye opener for sure. All good. A stop at Bigga's would be a great place for your 1st "jerk" stop. Sooo good.
