In my opinion:
I've been to scrub a dub. wanted to go once. never need to go again. I like the Jungle for a "club" atmosphere on Thursday night. Bourbon Beach is my favorite night spot. Alfred's and Roots have some good live music about every other night. Woodstock and Drifter's are good for afternoon, early evening (pre dinner) live music. A "party" can happen just about anywhere, just depends on the crowd and the vibe that night.
