    Cool T-Water Construction

I just watched a drone video of Negril beach and noticed T-Water has been demolished. Does anyone know if it will be rebuilt or who has purchased it? We use to stay there and loved it. Thank you

That property is in too good a location to just let it rot. Are there issues of who owns it, taxes, etc.? Or has someone bought it? We stayed there 5 times in the 1990s...many happy memories there. I wonder where some of the staff are now -- I know Lionel passed a while back, but some of the others we knew were Joy Cooper and Mr. Grant (security), Miz Bea (breakfast), Spike (last I heard he had a bar in Sav), Paul (bartender). Wayne Sharp (chef for one year, and a terrific one, too).
And Lloyd who was the "designated guy" (I can't wrap my mind around that ganja is legal now; no more need for the "designated guy". My husband used to enjoy his first-day walk to scope out who the "designated guy" was). Lloyd made eire baskets on the beach.

Getting all wistful now and wishing I could go back in time...

T-Water has been demolished. There were many legal issues involved before the property could switch hands. This contributed to the continual decay of the old property, but that is now resolved!

Look for some great things to happen, another incredible boutique hotel!

    More information soon come!

    Decriminalized...yes.
But, not quite legal (yet)...legal only for medical marijuana use.

Every hotel seemed to have a designated guy -- one guy who had permission to take care of the guests on that front. I didn't have the radar to tell who it was, but hoo-boy, my husband sure did. I think his record was 20 minutes to find the designated guy.

Wow....he is still alive? That's awesome. I can't believe that my husband has already gone to the Great Beyond, but Lloyd is still around. I'm tentatively planning to go to SATP this fall, but if I find myself down that way I will definitely go try to find him and say hello. He won't remember me; the only thing that made me memorable was that my husband was over a foot taller than I am. Unless I wear my Kliban cat T-shirt, which seemed to be memorable down there for some reason. It has this image on it.
