We are looking at staying at the Negril Palms, and I'm wondering about the rooms. Anyone know the difference between a standard and a deluxe? The website doesn't really reflect any difference, just a price difference.
Also, ground floor vs 2nd floor?

We stayed there twice. I like it a lot. The rooms are all different shapes and sizes. Standard is likely to be smaller and darker and closer to the road. I believe the deluxe ones are closest to the beach.Originally Posted by Maralunatic
We prefer upstairs, so that you don't have to worry about people walking past you -- some porches are inches from the path. If you don't like stairs, then downstairs
Recommended, especially if you can get a room set back from the road a bit.
We just returned from Negril Palms this weekend from our first stay there. I would highly recommend it. This was our first time at this resort and it is very small but the staff that work there are very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the first floor and I didn't mind it being by the path. From the front desk to the staff at the restaurant to the beach security everyone was so pleasant we hated to leave, it was like we gained a new family while we were there. I will definitely return to this resort again.
I booked our next trip for the first 3 days here. Wanted to see a new perspective since we're usually at Travellers or White Sands. The other half loves the beach, or we'd be on the cliffs which are my first love.
