Hello boardies! Last visit to Jamaica/Negril was 8 yrs ago - need your help

So... it's been awhile... finally got a flight booked on July 9 to Montego Bay!

The plan is to eat well (love the local food!), rest, get a bit of a tan, do some running (I'm training for the New York Marathon, so I have a program that I want to stick to), socialize and spend some time taking photos (it's my hobby - love the amazing sunrises/sunsets in Negril).

I remembered this forum and the help I got last time, and thought I'd pop back in and see if you can share some of your wisdom. I know some of you have been traveling to Negril for many many MANY years now and stayed at a lot of the places.

Hi ...what your looking for is very close to CoCo, ....perfect place for a single gal, and imo the best value on the beach.. White Sands.
Rooms are basic, but immaculately clean, small fridge, great ac, and a patio or balcony with each room. The bar is a fun, social bar, perfect for a solo traveler. The staff, from the front desk, to the servers and bartenders are top notch. Great security, and the best part is it is situated on the prime area of the beach, within walking distance of a lot of places. You can have your choice of beachside, or garden side.
Around 60 bucks a night fits what you are looking for....you can't beat the value of White Sands.

Thanks jojo, I'll check it out!

EDIT: White Sands looks great - I think it might be a better fit than CCLP - I'll hold onto both alternatives and see what the others say
