How did I miss this report!? It was a great read, glad you had a good time despite your travel buddy (made that mistake before, love her again but she has to stay stateside!)

You have further confirmed for me that I will be going to YS Falls. I can't do all the jumping and whatnot because Little Guy will be with me but I'm going to enjoy as much as I can of it.
    Happy holiday family time!

My husband went first and he said halfway down he realized it was higher up than he thought lol. My daughter and I did the ziplines...I must be a chicken because I will never do it again!!
My bf wants to do the zip lines this year...you will have to tell me more about it. I may PM if you if you dont mind.

Ohhhh no you dont! You're not off the hook....I'm sure one of the super friendly and helpful staff there would be happy to stand with Little guy so momma can take a swing off the rope! HA! I want a pic. Just playing, but it is SO much fun. Can't wait to hear about your trip with the wee one!!

Tizzy. Do you have some contact info for Country Western? I was told by a couple people that they were out of business but it sure doesn't sound like it. We ended up going to Rhodes Hall to ride in January but I really wanted to try Country Western. Heard it was a lot better.

Nice work lady. I like the quality of your pics, level horizon and clarity, and thought it was great how you wrapped it up with Alfred. Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing you next month.

    Must read!

Thanks Tizzy... If you knew my buddies mom..you would know she was our kind of people. At 85 she'd still get dolled up to the nines and cruise around in her convertible. Drove the boys crazy even in her autumn years! Near the end ( last year which is why we skipped our trip ) she and my buddy Jon gathered at her hospice bedside with a blender, pineapple rum and some island tunes! "let's do it while we still can!" was her battle cry! It is that very spirit that we will be taking with us... The spirit of Priscilla will forever grace that island now. I think we will commend her at Ricks... Though touristy (it is still one of my annual guilty. pleasures) it is the kind of place where her life of the party personality would have flourished.

Secondly wanted to recommend a great book and must read for any Negril lover: WALK GOOD by Roland Reimer. Written about 25 years ago if memory serves it is a splendid account of the sites sounds and experiences that everyone on this site holds so dear. It is a fun and easy read and good inspiration for things to do and people there who still enrich the Negril scene. If you read it I would love your review on it. Thought you are such a naturally gifted writer that a book like that would be something you would love. Cheers!

    Hey Chiilinthemost,
Roland is actually a boardie on here who goes by Kahuna. Agreed it's a great read as well as his new book Sunset Negril.

    Hey Roland,
Get the ol' typewriter out and give us a new read. Your last trip report was great but short lived.

Cool Booger. Didnt know I had greatness in my very midst! It was a great book and is always good for a Negril fix when Minnesota and January conspire. Thanks for the heads up... Very cool to know ! ( good thing I loved his work, eh?)
