White Sands

It looks like White Sands has spruced things up a bit from pictures I've seen. We stayed there twice many years ago. Has anyone stayed recently & if so what did you think? I'm seriously thinking of staying there again. First time we were there we stayed beach side & the last time garden side. Anyone have a recent opinion on one over the other?

I just stayed in the standard beach side room..it was small but clean with good A/C and wifi was really good. Bathroom was decent sized as well... Even tho the beach side room is smaller then the garden, it is worth it to be beach side so you don't have to cross the road..in my opinion. If you are a repeater..call their number as you will get a discount for that..I think it is one of the best budget places on the beach..

Thanks for the info! I didn't know we could get a discount as a repeat. Will definitely call in the reservation as soon as we know what time we can go. We thought it would be Nov. but it looks like the soonest will be around New Years because of husbands work schedule. Dang it! I hate to have to wait longer.
