I have stayed with my wife at the rustic cabin at Kuyaba. We had a great time, but my wife grew up a farm girl and creepy crawlies don't scare her. Had to light a mosquitto coil a couple of nights, you can see daylight through some of the boards on the walls. All of this didn't bother me, or her, we actually named one of the bathroom critters Leroy. What did bother us was the super loud music from the Bourbon Beach. Love Bourbon Beach, but 3am every night? We were exhausted. Now there are more music venues at that end of the beach. Would be tough with little ones.

I like to have everything nailed down way in advance so am trying to get it organized now. We were thinking about the rustic cottage at Kuyaba, bc my family really can stay anywhere and is used to camping out. The price is a great deal. However, I started thinking about how nice it would be to have a pool and am looking elsewhere. It's very hard to book online for a family of 5. For example, Cocolapalm - when I put 5 people into the search on the travel websites nothing comes up. When I put 4, they have rooms that it seems I could easily add a crib to for my toddler. What should I do? Stay with the rustic cottage? Call the hotel and ask if the room can hold 4 plus baby before booking? Look elsewhere? Wait to book?

Thank you so much for your advice! I have been creeping on this forum for YEARS. It's great to see so many people are still the same (and so many ppl are also on TA).
