I am traveling to Negril the end of November too. Sun Country non-stop doesn't start til Dec. 20th or so. I haven't booked flight yet, am watching an American flight out of Sioux Falls, SD then hour & half layover in Chicago. Same on return. Great times. But, too spendy right now. 2 months ago, it was $582, Now $718, Just have to wait and see, hope it doesn't go higher. Does American have "mishaps"?
Our biggest issue is living 3 hours away from Mpls, and 2 from Fargo, so we would have to travel to the airport either way. But I never thought about leaving out of Fargo, so I'll have to keep an eye on that.
Irine, while it sounds kind of goofy there's a lot of merit in doing airfare that way and I'm gonna have to keep watching the news. Not that I'm hoping for bad things or anything since I don't want lady Karma to smack me up.

Check the price if you fly back on Monday, you might be surprised.

I just checked with Delta, American & Sun Country, no direct flights in late Nov.. I've flown in late Nov. and flew AA conecting in Charlotte. Currently their price is $499-$504. Delta, $656-696 depending what time of day one flys out. Sun Country, not on their itinerary as of today. I'm not crazy about connecting flights, but if that's the time you want, then go with less options.

Maralunatic..for over the last year the prices from Fargo have been no more them MSP..and many times less. You can usually get 1 stop flights most of the time..with the connections being in Dallas and Chicago for American..and of course MSP for Delta..Departures are usually about 6 am..arrivals at MBJ at 2:00 give or take. And you can park at Fargo airport for about 6$ a day..
Fargoman, me likee the idea of $6 parking! Guess I'll have to check out Fargo!
