I'm shocked, just read Anthony Bourdain died of suicide. So sad, loved this guy.

This makes me sad too. The man loved Jamaica.
Apparently he is survived by a young daughter. Soo very sad.
May he rest in peace. 😞
Rest in Peace man!

The last sentence in that episode is haunting..... “just keep you A$$ above the ground”. RIP
Does anybody have a working link to the Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown Jamaica Episode. It is sort of a James Bond episode filmed in Port Antonio with Chris Blackwell, Michael Chin. I can't get Daily Motion video to play and can't find a working version.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Personally, I was somewhat disappointed in this episode, which i find sad because i generally like Anthony Bourdain's work.
Michael Lee-Chin came off as being a bit of a jerk IMHO. I also couldn't stand the big, drunk tourist they kept showing. It almost seemed like they needed fluff to fill in time which would have been better spent taking us to more places.

Thanks halfwaytree,
Much appreciate the video. I agree the episode lacked the usual Anthony Bourdain pizzaz but some of the scenery from over Portland way is really beautiful.
The big drunk tourist was actually a member of the production crew that they sent to Margaritaville to get the flip side of Jamaica the All Inclusive. If you notice on the episode of No Reservations Tony harps on the AI side of things as well. Funny that they hooked up with Chris Blackwell and Michael Lee-Chin considering the land scheme to make Orcabessa in Portland all AI. That was part of the point of the episode that Winnifred Beach is the only public beach and locals are afraid that it will be taken too.
Tony appears to be feeling quite Irie in several shots of him in the hammock. He liked the Jerk Chicken, oxtail, curried goat, rice and peas and Red Stripes and rum to wash it down.
RIP Tony Bourdain
