Been too long, but looking at getting the kids to Negril. Our 16 yr old is curious about our stories from 17+ years ago! Ha!

Back then, had several trips under our belt. Made great friends with Love George, and made The Negril Yacht Club our main stay.

Also stayed Samsara and Travellers.

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations on any places with the old Yacht Club vibe? Someplace with a welcoming/ locals friendly bar area.

Have done more than a few short trips, but the best ones were 10-14 days staying at 3 different locals. Liked to fit a couple 2-3 nights on the beach and in the cliffs around our base and longest stay with Chuck and Donna.

Thinking we'll just split beach and cliffs, with more time right on the sand.

PeeWee's bar is very local and tourist friendly. It's a good place to meet folks, and chill.
