    Help! Need opthamologist

In Negril now and my husband got something in his eye. Made a trip to Dr here in Negril but he wasn't able to get it out. He suggested we go to opthomologist at Freeport Shopping Center in Montego Bay.
I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any information or experience with an opthomologist. We're really not sure what to do.

I'm not sure what kind of Doctor you visited.
I go to Dr. Desmond Parker (ophthalmologist) in Negril...though, I haven't been to him for anything as serious as an eye injury.
And, do they maybe mean Fairview not Freeport?

Thanks Bnewbie. If it's still bothering him tomorrow We will try to contact Dr Parker. He just saw a general practitioner today that Catcha put us in contact with. I'm keeping fingers crossed its better by tomorrow.

My fingers are crossed too...such a horrible thing to happen & worse on vacation.
The only other thing I could think of...they may have suggested Montego Bay for a specialist.

Thanks Bnewbie. He says it’s feeling better but he may just be saying that for my benefit. I told him if it’s not better i’m ok with cutting our trip short(very) We are here at Catcha until Saturday ..then are booked at Couples Swept Away until July 6.

I hope it is better and you don't have to cut the trip short. Before you head into Montego Bay and if it's still bothering him tomorrow...see Dr Parker...he'll give you good advice also.
Rob and I both know Dr Parker...if you need any further help, please let us know.

Thank you. Do you have a phone number for Dr Parker? My husband is still asleep...I wake before sunrise when I'm in Negrl .. So I'm not sure how the eye is today but If it's still not right we definitely would like Dr Parker to look at it. I tried googling him but couldn't find him. Thank you again for the help,

Thanks Rob! His eye seems better today..thank goodness! But just in case I feel better having that info. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you and Bnewbie being a contact here in Negril.
I’ve been a message board follower since after our first trip in 2014 and I don’t think we would have had nearly the experiences were had over the years here without the info from you and the “boardies”. My husband and I are now going to..thankfully ..enjoy the beautiful day here in Negril.
