he and his team are local to negril.
I didn't know Kingsley rented cars. Raysullpaint seems to want to go away from Negril for a few days. Hard to pay a Taxi Man to go with you on a tour of that length without costing a ton of money.
There is a list of some paying advertisers who rent cars on this site at https://negril.com/transport/

oops, thanks for catching that!!!
i'm a non-driving new yorker, and read "car hire" as hiring someone to drive.
this rental spot has been open for years: http://vernonscarrental.com/ maybe someone on the board has had experience renting from them.

Ohh…. my mistake as well, I thought you were looking for a driver to take you around......you want to '' rent a car ''.... okay.....
My advice.... don't do it !!!![]()
I find it to be too expensive to rent a car for a few days when I mostly just want to get to someplace and chill out. I don't like to look out the window of where I am staying and look at a car racking up money while it is just sitting there.
What I sometimes do is figure the furthest I want to go (in your case, Treasure Beach) and arrange a private ride with a Route Taxi Driver who is going there anyways. You can go into a car park in say Negril and find a driver who will take you to Sav for a flat fee (sometimes I offer a driver 10 fares to take me and my crew). That might be about $1300 Jamaican but still only about $10 US and then so on to Black River and finally to Treasure Beach. And then work my way back to Bluefields, Belmont, etc.
Driving a rental car is not a bad option if you can adapt to to the Jamaican rules of the road.
Not everyone travels the same way. As my friend Marshall says, "My way is not the best way, it's just another way"
