The ads are supplied by Google using what they call their "Auto Ads" format. Google determines the size, placement and frequency of the ads. They claim this is to "provide a good user experience for your visitors." Well, so much for that...

But those truly annoying "anchor" ads that have been appearing at the top or bottom of your mobile phone have been "performing poorly" according to Google so we did get them to stop that nonsense...

A few years ago, I replied to a Board inquiring about returning to a resort with a ladies for an overnight stay. I replied that in my experience, they were great hosts, I didn't think it would be a problem, but cautioned I wasn't sure how they react to a professional guest. The next time I logged on, the banner adverts were about escorts. Hilarious, but creepy all the same.

My security software declares "this page safe, but notes the presence of Google Analytics and Facebook Tracker." There cashing in on us!
