I live on eastern Long Island now and live animals, but I value what little sleep I get. A few of my neighbors have horses, and one even has a rooster. Luckily it’s not close enough to hear from inside the house.
My sister runs a charity that raises goats. They’re a blast, but you wouldn’t want a male within half a mile during mating season!!
I guess I have a case of NIMNBY. Not in my neighbors back yard!
