Just returned last week from staying at Negril Beach Club.. My friends and I ate several meals at Sir Laings and also had the opportunity to chat several times with Mr. Laing. Menu prices are very reasonable, service was excellent and food was very good. It is clear the staff really respect Mr. Laing and he also respects the staff. Mr. Laing is an old school gentleman and has many years of experience in bar/restaurant management. He also previously worked in Management for Negril Beach Club. Mr. Laing is really in tune with what is needed to make the bar/restaurant sucessful including the needs of the resort guests. I really hope he is successful with this venture. My friends and I ended up having Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant - we came up with a menu and the price he gave us was very reasonable. I won't post the price but we had a buffet menu of curry goat, escoveitch king fish, brown stew chicken, rice and peas, macaroni and cheese, salad, steamed veggies, callaloo and for dessert we had bread pudding. I hope everybody supports this place.
