Who gives a better exchange rate for Canadian dollars? Cambio or ATM? I'm thinking the ATM might be better since there's no physical cash trade involved. Cambio might take a couple of points to handle cash.

I would go to the fx/trader to cash your Can$. its the best rate of the cambios. its in the same building as western union next to the high low entrance.Last year i had 3 cards compromised in the machines.
Agree that you must take care with your cards in all machines. I take the same precautions as I do at home... I am able to "turn off" my card, and do so whenever not in active use. I have yet to run into an issue, but know that you must be cautious of this. I've only used abm's when necessary.
I'm gonna be Iron like a Lion in Zion
Justin...it depends on the type of bank account you have.
Some don't charge fees, some do. If your bank doesn't charge you any fees or a minimal fee...use the ATM/ABM here.
If you're charged fees...use one of the cambios here.
I know scotiabank offers a debit visa bank card.
when used in abm or any establishment that accepts visa there are no fees and exchange is at bank rate.
We use it everytime we go and never had issues.
but withdrawals must be thru the atm not at the teller.
Also I wouldn't bother bringing Can $, bring US or bring Ja.
