    Steven's Aqua Nature Park

Does anyone know anything about this place? It looks intriguing!

40 miles outside of Negril - so about an hour drive?

Any info or experience would be appreciated.

Its a beautiful place, so well maintained. Refreshing water to bathe in, you can bottle spring water to use at home. Nice vibes and music. 150 j's to enter. You can bring your own food and drink if you like. Try to go on a sunday.

Irine...it's not the same as Roaring River.
Rob and I have been there a couple of times over the years and really enjoyed ourselves...but it had/has(?) been closed for some time.
While it was a gorgeous area and the water was nice & refreshing...I can't say I agree with Boniqua Riu about bottling my own water & drinking it...a lot of washing & bodies in there...including a few cows once in awhile...lol.

I'm not sure if it had a period it was closed, if so I was never aware. It currently is open I was there last week. Yes, there is a lot of bathing going on like most rivers lol. But bathing is forbidden in the top section if you climb up to it. It is for bottling water.

I might be dating myself here, but many years ago there was a place called Benjie's. I was never there but many people talked about it back in the day. It was just below Roaring River and if I can remember, it was described as a lazy river, nature walk, and a small restaurant. I remember people talking about spending the whole day there. I wonder if this is the old Benjie's and maybe even Steven is a descendant of Benjie himself? Rob, your thoughts.
