Birthday Cake
Hello.
I'm heading to Negril this weekend, in part, to celebrate my wife's birthday. Can anyone recommend a place to get a birthday cake?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers!

Re: Birthday Cake
Hammonds Bakery,
take a left at Round-a-Bout.
(also very good patties too)
They used to, but I haven't been there in a couple of years.

Re: Birthday Cake
Definitely '' CONNIE'S Cakes.... Baked homemade at Connie's country western bar...…..also a good excuse to go and have some of her delicious food !!

Re: Birthday Cake
We used Hammonds 7 years ago for our daughters wedding cake. They will make to order what ever type you like.
Regards,
Bob

Re: Birthday Cake
In case it's more convenient, I assume Marcia is still selling cake at the Yellow Bird bar and she will also make to order.

Re: Birthday Cake
I haven't seen Marcia yet this season, but her cakes are good!
We've used Hammonds Bakery for special event cakes...easy to work with & affordable.
Margaret Jackson of Negril Cakes is also delicious & makes beautiful cakes.
You can also ask your hotel what they might offer or suggest for you. Depending on which hotel you're staying...a few of them have pretty good bakers or can order the cake for you from their favourite place.

Re: Birthday Cake
Thanks for all the suggestions. I've had hammond's patties but never thought of them for cake. Now I have another excuse to stop in there!
