10:00 A.M.,
I'll be there at 10 I told Big Mama on Friday night.

Woke up Saturday feeling grand.
Had coffee and B-fast and walked back to the room.

Soon, I headed out to the road looking for my driver.

He was there, spot on as usual.

We headed to the neighborhood,
pass the Round-a bout, down the road, pass all those stores,
Made a right turn went up a few blocks and we were in the Hood.

We pulled up to the store about 9:58 A. M.

"hey Mama, the kids ready?
The girl was still sleep, the boy was not there.

Aw shucks,
What to do?

I heard the girl yell from the back,
Mi ready, mi ready!

Aboout 10 seconds later, the boy's Dad, pulls up and
my little soilder hops out of the truck.
I talked to Dad for a bit.
I look back and my driver is gone.
Car is there, but where's my driver?

He was in the shop, picking up a few things.
We all jumped in the ride and off we went.

The Housekeepers had been asking me all week
"where are your kids?"
We went to my room and I stayed outside on the veranda with the boy while the girl showered and put on her swimsuit.
Then the boy showered.

We walked to the back and there was not a soul in sight.
We had the pool to ourselves!

Play and swim and play and swim.
The sun was hot and I just chilled, getting a tan while the kids splashed around.
"Jump in Mark, go to the deep end" the boy would say.

He just wanted to try and sneak to the deep, holding on to the edge of the pool.
I guess he felt safer if I was close by.
"Get your butt back in the shallow, you need to learn and practice swimming"
I try to teach them how to swim every time, they are getting better
The boy says "Mark, watch me float!!"
Good job, man! I say.

Afterwards, we went to the room, changed out of swimming trunks .
I had action videos like Avengers and the Transformer Robot like movies.
They watched them on my laptop.

Soon, the girl said she was hungry, the boy too.
I went out and bought some Chicken breast and rice and peas
at this little cook shop pon de road.
I also bought some pop and juice and snacks too.

It was about 4 o'clock and the kids made no mention of returning home.
Most of the time, they stayed in the room, enjoying the AC.
Me, I chilled on the Veranda, enjoying Red stripes, without a care in the world.

Round about 5 I said get your stuff together, time to go.
15 minutes later they had not budged.
Man, did you hear me....get ready!!

It took about another 1/2 hour till they came out.
We hopped in the Taxi and headed back home.
