We had a wonderful week at Seastar. We arrived on Friday night and everyone and I mean everyone was busy getting the final touches done to get ready for the big show and grand new opening on Saturday night. Even Barbara and Clarol had their face masks on and brroms in their hands to assist Chris and the crew in any way they could. The bar was being sanded and getting ready for the shelacking. All hands on deck and they worked most of the night and into the next day.
By the time 4:00 pm rolled around final touches were going on with plants being arranged and the charis for the tables were to be delivered shortly. By 7:00 pm it was time to open the gates and bring on the buffet and the entertainment.
It was an amazing feat to get this amount of work done in 6 weeks.
Some of you may have seen me dancing - seems I didn't mind if I had a dancing partner or not but I was having fun and only get to dance maybe once a year now-a-days. Luciano up close and personal was a special treat.
The staff are happy to be back on their regular routines and they are looking forward to seeing all those that are on their way down, right behind us.
Little touches were going on through-out the week.
We got back last night and we are already looking forward to our return in 2 months with the kids and their significant others.
A Couple of photos of the updates at Seastar.
