    What a great list of books. Some I've read & some not but I will! I always love reading books about Jamaica especially when I'm there. I mostly like non fiction but have really enjoyed some fiction also.

    i haven't read papillon in a very, very, very long time but i loved it! i'm going to see if i can download it onto my kindle (or, preferably, an audiobook version) for my upcoming trip.

    I first read Papillon as a young boy and could not understand why he would leave the native village. I did not know the 1973 version was partially filmed in Jamaica - the cave scenes in Negril even! Going to have to revisit that flick.
